Light and Bright

Rejuvenate and refresh your skin with our Light & Bright treatment!
Light & Bright is a skin rejuvenation, laser treatment that improves the appearance of pigmentation/dark spots, vascular lesions and texture irregularity.
The treatment combines two advanced technologies in one service! Light & Bright treatment uses a combination of intense pulsed light (IPL) and a non-ablative fractional laser to improve redness and dark spots, resurface your skin,
and stimulate your body’s own natural collagen production for bright, glowing skin. The treatment does not break the skin, so the downtime is minimal.

Understanding the Most Common Types of Skin Conditions
Light & Bright Laser Treatments Address the Following Concerns:
Elimination of dark spots: Dark spots arise from excessive pigmentation in the skin cells, resulting in concentrated areas of melanin. They are a
natural part of aging but are often increased with sun exposure.
Reduction of redness: Skin redness and the visibility of veins, like spider veins, typically stem from increased vascularity or swelling of veins beneath the skin’s surface. One common type of facial skin redness is called rosacea. This is a persistent redness, typically found in the central part of your face. Other types of vascular issues include facial thread veins – often called “spider veins” or telangiectasias – or small red spots called cherry angiomas. Excess redness can also be associated with scarring that can be seen in acne scars.
Enhancement of skin texture through resurfacing: Aging leads to diminished collagen production, impacting the skin’s capacity to maintain a smooth and firm texture. A result of excess dead skin cells that build up on the surface of the skin, making areas feel rough or bumpy to the touch and can also give the skin a dull appearance.
How Does It Work?
The Light & Bright Uses 2 Advanced Laser Technologies in 1 Amazing Treatment!
1) IPL
Selective Waveband Technology (SWT®) IPL technology, employing precise bursts of light to target blood vessels and excess melanin in the skin, diminishing age spots, freckles, redness, and sun damage. Unlike traditional IPLs, Ellipse IPL technology filters out harmful light wavelengths.
2) Frax 1550 Non Ablative Laser
Frax 1550 technology revitalizes the skin by delivering controlled bursts of energy to reduce textural irregularities. FDA-approved for dermatological procedures requiring soft tissue coagulation and skin resurfacing, the Frax 1550 handpiece ensures effective rejuvenation.

Designed to help remove dark spots, reduce redness, and improve textural irregularities, our Light & Bright™ treatment may be your answer to brighter, smoother-looking skin!
FAQ: About Light & Bright
FAQ: About Light & Bright
The Light & Bright™ treatment is an aesthetic treatment that can remove dark spots, reduce redness, and address textural irregularities via skin resurfacing. The treatment uses two complementary advanced technologies found on the Nordlys™ system. The Light & Bright treatment uses both a patented intense pulsed light (IPL) technology called SWT (Selective Wavelength Technology) IPL and a Frax 1550™ laser on the face and chest areas to rejuvenate* your skin.
If you have unsightly blood vessels or redness, excess melanin in your skin sometimes due to sun damage, or your skin has textural irregularities that bother you, then Light & Bright treatment may be right for you. A Light & Bright treatment provider can assess your skin and condition and determine whether the treatment will meet your needs
The IPL used in the Light & Bright treatment is called SWT IPL. It is a narrowband wavelength IPL, meaning it cuts off broader light bands that are not always necessary to treat a given condition. Some other IPL’s use broadband IPL light. The SWT IPL technology filters out some higher harmful wavelengths of the broader bands of light and fewer treatments may be needed compared to older IPL technologies.
The cost of Light & Bright treatment will be determined by your treatment provider. It may vary depending on the condition and size of area treated. Typically, insurance will not cover Light & Bright treatment. This is common for most aesthetic treatments
